A multi-award winning photographer, he specializes in Architectural & Commercial photography and local photographic art,

including landscapes, seascapes, flowers, nature, black & white & sepia photography.

John is a member of The International Association of Architectural Photographers and The Association of Independent Architectural Photographers.

He is also listed in the Adobe Photographers Directory.

Muuss started as a freelance photographer in 1958 working in New York City, and then as a photographer in the US Army.

After his enlistment John went to work in a Park Avenue studio in New York City specializing in architectural, art and sculpture photography.

John studied under the great master photographer Adolph Studley, and worked for such notable clients as

The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York, Willem & Elaine de Kooning and Jacques Lipchitz.

As a 12 year resident, John enjoys an excellent reputation.

He has worked for many of the leading developers, builders, architects and real estates in southeastern North Carolina.
